Street Photo Captured by Film Camera Nikon FM2

Jakarta nowaday has a regular event every Sunday, the Jakarta Car Free Day.
Government of Jakarta has been trying to control air pollution. Half day since the morning until noon, every car do not alloy enter along the way Sudirman street, the main road in Jakarta.

On the last December, I got an opportunity to come and took some pictures by my film / analog camera Nikon FM2 with Fujifilm C200 film.
Many people do cycling, running, walking and doing anything a long that street. 
And also many of street food seller and many kind of transportations I found there.

Best Location for Street Photography in Nepal



Four times come and visit Nepal, I always spend my time to capture photos in the streets.
I feel Kathmandu and some cities in Nepal are still one of the best places to do street photography.

Below here is the best location to do street photography in Nepal.

1. Thamel
Thamel is the center area for tourist. A lot of stores built a long the way the street in that area. Also you could find may of hotels and home stay there.

2. Kathmandu Durbar Square
Kathmandu Durbar Square have several squares. We could move from one to another. Activities of people could captured there. Can find street hawkers, pedicabs, people riding bicycle  and most of them stay and enjoy there wait until night come down.

The best time to do street photo here in the afternoon, before the evening come down.

3. Palace in Kathmandu Durbar Square
Located in Kathmandu Durbar square, this Palace has its own inner courtyard.

4. Boudhanath
One of the biggest monastery in Kathmandu. Many pilgrims come and visit to Boudhanath to praying there. Circle walking clockwise and whispering their praying.

People are gathering here and some feeding pigeons.

5. Pashupatinath
Pashupatinath is a complex of temples. It easy to find it on the northern-east part of Kathmandu near the Bagmati river. We could find many of holy men (shadu) there, especially in Hindu festival day. And also we can see ceremony of cremation beside of the river.

6. Swayambhunath
Another bigger monastery located a top of hill in Kathmandu valley. We have to climb up so many steps of stair to find it.

And still another cities near Kathmandu which really nice to get street photo there. The cities are Lalitpur and Bhaktapur.

7. Patan Durbar Square
This square located in Lalitpur, one of an ancient city in Nepal.

8. Bhaktapur City
Another ancient city in Nepal, has 3 squares are: Nyatapola temple square, Durbar square and pottery square.
Local people daily habit, gathering and talking in some places
